So here I am trying to paint with acrylics. Old habits die hard and I keep catching myself painting like I do with watercolor. But hopefully with a few more tries, I'll get the hang of it.

wrestler

I was invited by Dave James to participate in a weekly character theme. "Wrestler" was the challenge in honor of the new movie 'Nacho Libre' (which was hilarious, by the way, for all you who've not seen it yet). I'm hoping to take this 'ere macho nacho man and paint him up in the near distant future. Thanks for letting me play too, Dave. This was a lot of fun!

Here are some chamelions I painted in watercolor & gouache over the last couple months. I'd painted a similar composition with red-eyed tree frogs years ago and decided that the frog painting needed a companion on the wall ... I wish I had a picture of the frogs to show you ... sorry.
